Description
LILOU combines a warm walnut-effect cabinet with modern listening options. Its tinted dust cover gives the player a refined, understated look while protecting the platter and stylus from everyday dust.
Classic design, straightforward operation
There is no screen or complicated menu. Choose your speed, place the record and lower the tonearm. The fitted cartridge and simple controls make LILOU an excellent first turntable as well as an easy gift.
Built-in speakers and Bluetooth
Integrated stereo speakers provide instant sound without an amplifier. Bluetooth lets you play music from a phone through the same speakers, while the headphone socket keeps late-night listening private.
Connect to a larger system
The RCA line output links LILOU to active speakers or an amplifier, so your system can grow without replacing the turntable. Three playback speeds — 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm — cover albums, singles and older records.
Set the player on a firm, level piece of furniture and leave room behind it for the cover. The walnut finish, versatile connections and quick set-up make LILOU a practical centrepiece for everyday listening.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy anything else to play my records?
No. LILOU has two front-facing stereo speakers built in, so it plays your records on its own. Plug it in, put a record on and lower the arm.
Can I connect it to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones?
No. On LILOU, Bluetooth works the other way round: it receives music from your phone and plays it through the built-in speakers. To play your records through other speakers, use the RCA output with the cable supplied. For private listening, use the headphone socket.
Can I plug it into my hi-fi, powered speakers or soundbar?
Yes. The RCA output is line level: connect it to an AUX or LINE IN input on an amplifier or a pair of powered speakers. An RCA cable is in the box. A soundbar only works if it has an analogue input (AUX or RCA). Not sure? Tell us what you already own on the Contact page and we will check before you order.
Is there anything to set up before the first record?
No. It is ready to plug in: nothing to adjust before your first record.
Does it stop by itself at the end of a record?
Yes. The platter stops turning once the record has finished.
Which records can it play?
12-inch LPs, 7-inch singles and 10-inch records, at 33, 45 and 78 rpm.
What sound should I expect?
Two front-facing stereo speakers built in. For more volume and bass, connect LILOU to bigger speakers through the RCA output, with the cable supplied.
Will it damage my records?
No. LILOU plays your records without damaging them. Keep your records and the stylus free of dust, and replace the stylus when it wears: a worn stylus is what marks a record.
Can the stylus be replaced?
LILOU has a ruby stylus. When it needs changing, message us from the Contact page and we will tell you which replacement fits.
What is in the box?
The LILOU record player with its cartridge fitted, its clear dust cover, an RCA cable and the power supply.
How is LILOU different from the other Bireka record players?

When will I receive it, and what does delivery cost?
Delivery is free in the United Kingdom. Orders leave within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) and then take 5 to 8 working days to arrive: allow 6 to 10 working days in total. You receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
What if it does not suit me, or arrives faulty?
You have 14 days from delivery to ask for an exchange or a refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, message us from the Contact page with your order number: every Bireka record player is covered by a two-year warranty.
