Questions

Before you order

Do I need an amplifier or extra speakers?

No. Every Bireka record player has built-in speakers, except NOVA, which comes with a pair of speakers in the box. If you’d like to use your own hi-fi later, an RCA cable is included.

Can I connect it to my Bluetooth speaker?

Yes, with MILO, LYRA and LOEVA, which send your records to a Bluetooth speaker. On the other nine models, Bluetooth works the other way round: it plays music from your phone through the record player. To use a soundbar or powered speakers, connect them with the RCA cable supplied (they need an analogue input).

Will it damage my records?

A record player in good condition, with a clean stylus, plays your records without damaging them. Dust and a worn stylus are what wear records down: our record care guide shows how to avoid both.

Can it play my old records?

All twelve models play 33⅓ and 45 rpm records. Eight of them also play 78s: every model except ELSA, ONDA, NERA and VERA.

When will my order arrive?

We prepare and dispatch your order within 24 to 48 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Allow 6 to 10 working days in total. Delivery is free and your tracking number comes by email.

How do returns work?

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind. Contact us, send the record player back, and we refund you within 14 days of receiving it.

Who is Bireka?

A small, independent shop that sells record players and record care, nothing else. We keep a short range of twelve models and describe each one plainly, including what it doesn’t do. Read our story.
