Description
VERA combines the warmth of a walnut cabinet with the precision of an Audio-Technica cartridge. Four integrated speakers deliver room-filling sound from a single, carefully finished unit.
Four built-in speakers
The multi-speaker arrangement offers more presence and a broader frequency range than a basic two-speaker cabinet. There is no need for an external amplifier, making VERA easy to install in a living room, bedroom or office.
Audio-Technica cartridge and belt drive
The trusted cartridge tracks record grooves accurately, while the belt-drive system helps keep motor vibration away from the stylus. Together they provide clear, stable playback for everyday listening.
Bluetooth convenience
Bluetooth turns VERA into a complete music system between records, allowing you to stream from a phone or tablet through the same four speakers.
The dark walnut finish makes VERA feel like a piece of furniture rather than an appliance. Put it on a solid, level surface and enjoy a complete vinyl system without the clutter of separate components.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy anything else to play my records?
No. VERA has four built-in speakers, so it plays your records on its own. Plug it in, put a record on and lower the arm.
Can I connect it to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones?
No. On VERA, Bluetooth works the other way round: it receives music from your phone and plays it through the built-in speakers. To play your records through other speakers, use the RCA output with the cable supplied.
Can I plug it into my hi-fi, powered speakers or soundbar?
Yes, through the RCA output, with the cable supplied. A switch selects the signal: LINE for an AUX or LINE IN input (powered speakers, most amplifiers), PHONO for an amplifier with a PHONO input. A soundbar only works if it has an analogue input (AUX or RCA). Not sure? Tell us what you already own on the Contact page and we will check before you order.
Is there anything to set up before the first record?
A few minutes. The cartridge is already fitted; you set the counterweight on the arm by following the instructions in the box (tracking force between 2.5 and 4.5 g).
Does it stop by itself at the end of a record?
Yes. The platter stops turning once the record has finished.
Which records can it play?
12-inch LPs, 7-inch singles and 10-inch records, at 33 and 45 rpm. It does not play 78 rpm records.
What sound should I expect?
Four built-in speakers: two silk-dome tweeters and two mid/bass drivers. The cartridge is an Audio-Technica AT-3600L moving-magnet type, on an aluminium platter with belt drive. If you want a bigger sound later, the RCA output connects VERA to an amplifier or powered speakers.
Will it damage my records?
No. VERA plays your records without damaging them: its moving-magnet cartridge sits on an arm with an adjustable counterweight, which you set once by following the instructions. Keep your records and the stylus free of dust, and replace the stylus when it wears: a worn stylus is what marks a record.
Can the stylus be replaced?
Yes. VERA uses an Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge; its replacement stylus is the ATN3600L, which is widely available.
What is in the box?
The VERA record player with its cartridge fitted, its clear dust cover, an RCA cable and the 12 V power supply.
How is VERA different from the other Bireka record players?
VERA has our largest cabinet (43 × 35 × 17 cm), four speakers including two silk-dome tweeters, an Audio-Technica cartridge and a USB port to copy your records to a computer. When will I receive it, and what does delivery cost?
Delivery is free in the United Kingdom. Orders leave within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) and then take 5 to 8 working days to arrive: allow 6 to 10 working days in total. You receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
What if it does not suit me, or arrives faulty?
You have 14 days from delivery to ask for an exchange or a refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, message us from the Contact page with your order number: every Bireka record player is covered by a two-year warranty.
