Description
LYRA is designed for collections that span generations. It plays modern LPs and singles as confidently as older 78 rpm records, all without requiring an amplifier or separate speakers.
Three speeds and three record sizes
Select 33⅓, 45 or 78 rpm to play 7-, 10- and 12-inch records. A 45 rpm adaptor is included, giving you everything needed for albums, singles and inherited pressings.
Built-in sound, simple set-up
Integrated stereo speakers provide immediate playback. The cartridge is already fitted and there is no counterweight to balance, so LYRA can be playing within minutes of unboxing.
Connect headphones or powered speakers
The 3.5 mm audio output supports private listening through headphones or a connection to powered speakers for greater volume and bass response.
For the best performance, place LYRA on a stable, level surface away from vibration. Its broad format compatibility makes it a practical choice for anyone who wants one player for a varied record collection.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy anything else to play my records?
No. LYRA has two built-in stereo speakers, so it plays your records on its own. Plug it in, put a record on and lower the arm.
Can I connect it to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones?
Yes. LYRA sends the sound of your records to a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphones. It does not receive music from a phone.
Can I plug it into my hi-fi, powered speakers or soundbar?
Yes, through the RCA output: connect it to an amplifier or a pair of powered speakers with the RCA cable supplied. A soundbar only works if it has an analogue input (AUX or RCA). Not sure? Tell us what you already own on the Contact page and we will check before you order.
Is there anything to set up before the first record?
No. The cartridge is already fitted and the arm needs no adjustment. Take it out of the box, plug it in and play.
Does it stop by itself at the end of a record?
Yes. The platter stops turning once the record has finished.
Which records can it play?
12-inch LPs, 7-inch singles and 10-inch records, at 33, 45 and 78 rpm. The 45 rpm adaptor for singles is in the box.
What sound should I expect?
Two built-in stereo speakers, 6 W in total: made for everyday listening. For more volume and bass, send the sound to bigger speakers, by Bluetooth or through the RCA output.
Will it damage my records?
No. LYRA plays your records without damaging them. Keep your records and the stylus free of dust, and replace the stylus when it wears: a worn stylus is what marks a record.
Can the stylus be replaced?
The stylus is a wearing part. When yours needs changing, message us from the Contact page, mention LYRA, and we will tell you which replacement fits.
What is in the box?
The LYRA record player with its cartridge fitted, its clear dust cover, an RCA cable, a 45 rpm adaptor and the mains adaptor.
How is LYRA different from the other Bireka record players?
LYRA sends the sound of your records to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones, which most of our players cannot do. MILO has the same features in a different finish. Not sure which one suits you? Tell us what you already own on the Contact page and we will point you to the right model.
When will I receive it, and what does delivery cost?
Delivery is free in the United Kingdom. Orders leave within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) and then take 5 to 8 working days to arrive: allow 6 to 10 working days in total. You receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
What if it does not suit me, or arrives faulty?
You have 14 days from delivery to ask for an exchange or a refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, message us from the Contact page with your order number: every Bireka record player is covered by a two-year warranty.
